Eco-efficiency

Eco-efficiency can be achieved through unity between the provision of sustainable goods and services at competitive prices that meet human needs, and thus promotes the reduction of environmental impacts and consumption of natural resources.
In the context of environmental pollution, a [system] is that eco-efficient it can produce more and better, with fewer resources and less waste. To this end, assume to seven key elements to eco-efficiency:

1. Minimize the material intensity of goods and services

2. Minimize the energy intensity of goods and services

3. Minimize dispersal of toxic

4. Encourage the recyclability of materials

5. Maximize sustainable use of renewable resources

6. Extend product durability

7. Increase the service intensity of goods and services

8. Promote consumer education to a more rational use of natural resources and energy
Examples of eco-efficiency measures

* Replace conventional equipment for products with automatic closing help alleviate the problem of water scarcity

* Opt for alternative forms of energy generation.

* Deploy automatic lighting system, reducing wasteful spending of light.

* Replace light bulbs for energy-saving lamps.

* Separate waste.

* Solid waste should be reduced, recycled and reused.

* Make composting organic waste.

* Develop social activities, involving the local community and, if possible, expand programs to the entire society.

* Policies for reforestation.
Implement an environmental management system in a company, reduces costs, avoids risks, ends with the competitive edge, avoid health risks to employees and customers, achieves legal compliance, reduces pollution, ensures the maintenance of natural resources and motivates people involved to engage in environmental issues.
